(Are you under the age of 18? You are not permitted to use the services offered within the Digital Assets of Haggz. In any event, this document may be somewhat complex and it is advisable to consult an adult).
This is the first version of the Privacy Policy of Haggz. When it is updated in the future, the changes compared with the previous version will be stated in this place, which may be reflected, among other things, in the aspects relating to the provision, collection and processing of personal information using artificial intelligence tools, the use of external analytics tools, and the circumstances in which various types of information may be transferred to third parties, all as detailed in the Privacy Policy below.
Update of 9 October 2026: clause 2.7 was added (identity verification by a photo of the ID and a live selfie, reviewed by a person on behalf of Haggz, with the photos deleted upon the decision), «Haggz credits» and their packs were named among the in-app purchases in 2.1.2, and clauses 3.9, 7.1 and 11.1 were updated accordingly.
1.1. Haggz\* ("Haggz" or the "Operator") respects the privacy of users and the privacy of its customers and of all users of the services it offers and provides (the "User/Users") within the Digital Assets of Haggz and the services accompanying them, including in the application, on the website, on the public listing pages and in share links (the "Digital Assets"). Haggz attaches great importance to maintaining the privacy of users, and undertakes to protect the personal information they share with Haggz, and for this purpose it acts in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Policy below and the provisions of the applicable law. *(Haggz is וובוסיאס טכנולוגיות בע"מ, a private limited company, company no. (ח.פ.) 517273348, the owner and operator of the Haggz (حجز) application and of the website haggz.com, and this term includes anyone acting on her behalf, any company to which the ownership or operation of the Digital Assets may be transferred in the future, and any related company, sister company or subsidiary, and any company that is affiliated or related and/or is at any time under the control of the Operator).*
1.2. Haggz believes that users have the full right to know the policies and procedures of Haggz regarding the collection and use of the information received from them and collected about them during the use of the Digital Assets. The purpose of the Privacy Policy is, among other things, to explain the procedures of Haggz regarding the privacy of users and the manner in which Haggz uses the personal information provided to it by users or collected by it as part of their visits to and uses of the Digital Assets.
1.3. Users' attention is drawn to the fact that this Privacy Policy applies to all the Digital Assets of Haggz, as applicable, but in cases of specific activities and services, additional and different rules may apply, and a dedicated individual policy may be published alongside it regarding the provision, collection and use of personal information within their framework.
1.4. The first entry into or use of any of the Digital Assets of Haggz shall be deemed consent to the provisions of this Privacy Policy, including by confirming registration for any service within the Digital Assets of Haggz, including for the purpose of the collection, management, processing and storage of information, and the like, as set out in the Privacy Policy. If the User does not agree to these terms, he must immediately refrain from continuing to enter and use the Digital Assets.
1.5. The Privacy Policy is published in Hebrew, Arabic and English for the convenience of users. In the event of any conflict or difference in meaning between the versions, the Hebrew version shall be the binding and prevailing version.
2.1. Haggz collects, receives and stores the following types of information in relation to users of the Digital Assets, according to the division of the services as detailed below: 2.1.1. All the visible technical information available to Haggz and/or provided by users during the users' use of the Digital Assets and of any of the services offered within them, including before identification as a user (that is, when browsing as a guest), and this includes:
2.1.2. Some of the services offered within the Digital Assets require registration and the provision and collection of personal information, whether upon entering the various platforms in the Digital Assets and in any use of them, or at the beginning of and during the period of the engagement. Haggz, and any third party acting on its behalf and collecting information for it, collect, manage and store the personal information that users provide knowingly and of their own free will during their use of the Digital Assets and the services offered within them. Personal information will be collected from the details provided by users as part of the contact processes, the process of registration and creation of a personal account (by means of a telephone number verified by a one-time code), the receipt of the service and/or any additional action carried out by users on their own initiative or another service they chose to receive as part of their use of the Digital Assets, and this whether or not they completed entering the information in the relevant fields and sent it. The data defined as "mandatory" will be marked differently and prominently from the other fields, and may change within the various services. This information may include the following:
2.2. If Haggz makes available, now or in the future, the possibility of providing information by granting access to a Google, Facebook, LinkedIn or Apple account, or to an account on any other platform (the "Social Networks"), and the User chooses to do so, he grants Haggz permission to receive the details of the information from those Social Networks in accordance with the User's settings in those Social Networks and/or their privacy policy. It is clarified that, as at the date of the update of this Policy, registration in the application is carried out by means of a telephone number only, and logging in through the Social Networks is not available.
2.3. In the event that a user shares with Haggz personal information about any third parties (such as relatives, tenants of apartments, owners of properties and businesses, potential sellers/buyers, job seekers, or the employees and specialists working for the service provider whose names and photographs are displayed for booking, and others), the User must inform those parties of this before providing such information to Haggz, and obtain their consent to the very provision of the information and to the uses that will be made of this information in accordance with the provisions of this Privacy Policy. For the avoidance of doubt, users declare and confirm that they hold and will at all times hold all the consents necessary to carry out the foregoing.
2.4. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of this policy document apply exclusively to personal information, as defined in the Protection of Privacy Law. In the event that any information about users is collected in a manner that does not identify them and amounts to non-identifying or aggregated (statistical/cumulative) information, Haggz is entitled to use this information in any possible manner and without any restrictions.
2.5. Users acknowledge that they are aware that some of the information that they will provide and/or that will be collected about them is not required by law and is provided to us with their consent and of their own free will, among other things, so that Haggz can provide them with certain services, and that they agree that Haggz will store this information in its databases, as detailed in this Privacy Policy. Notwithstanding the foregoing, it is clarified that without the provision of some of the information, users will not be able to join the Digital Assets and/or to enjoy some of the services offered within them. We draw users' attention to the fact that there are types of information that Haggz is under a legal obligation to retain due to the nature of the services provided to them (for example, purchase records for accounting and tax purposes, or for the purpose of complying with the legal obligations in the field of the prohibition of money laundering, if they apply).
2.6. What is visible to the public and what is not: what the User publishes in a listing (the text, the images, the price, the area and the means of contact he chose to display) and on his public page as an advertiser (the name, the picture, the bio, the skills and the languages) is visible to all users of the Digital Assets and to anyone who holds the link to the listing. By contrast, the telephone number and the email address of the account are not displayed to other users unless the User chose to display them as a means of contact in a listing; the exact location of an advertiser who chose "Approximate location" is not displayed, and an approximate area on the map is displayed in its place; the identity documents, as well as the photo of the ID and the live selfie taken for identity verification (clause 2.7), are kept in private storage and are viewed only by their owner and by whoever reviews them on behalf of Haggz; and the CV and the professional profile of a job seeker are displayed only to the employer to whose job the User applied.
2.7. Identity verification (the "blue check"): an advertiser may, at his choice, ask to verify his identity so that a "verified" mark is displayed on his page and listings. For this purpose the advertiser photographs, from within the application, the front of his identity card and takes a live selfie with the front camera. While the selfie is taken, the application checks, on the User's own device, that a live person is in front of the camera by asking him to move his head; these measurements are not transferred to Haggz and are not kept. The two photos are compared by eye by an authorised person on behalf of Haggz only; Haggz performs no automatic face matching and neither creates nor keeps any biometric identifier. The two photos are kept in private storage, are viewed only by whoever reviews them, and are permanently deleted as soon as the decision is made (approval or rejection), and in any case 30 days after they were sent if no decision was made; thereafter only the result of the verification and its date remain. Requesting verification is optional, and not doing so limits the use of the Digital Assets in nothing but the absence of the mark.
3.1. Haggz, and the parties engaged in data processing on behalf of and for Haggz, or in providing another service to Haggz, use non-personal information (which does not personally identify users) for statistical, analytical and research purposes, and for the purpose of adapting, developing, drawing conclusions about and improving the Digital Assets and the services offered within them, as well as for the advertising purposes of Haggz.
3.2. Haggz, and the parties engaged in data processing on behalf of and for Haggz, or in providing another service to Haggz, use personal information in accordance with the provisions of this Privacy Policy, including in order to:
3.3. For the avoidance of doubt, it is clarified that those parties engaged in data processing as stated above act on behalf of and for Haggz, and may include various service providers, cloud services, and additional business partners who assist in operating the Digital Assets and the services offered within them, among other things, so that they are managed and operate properly, for the ongoing completion of the actions requested by users, for security purposes, for the improvement of the service, and the like.
3.4. Users declare and confirm that all the information they have provided or that has been collected about them within the framework of the Digital Assets and the services offered within them is correct, reliable and accurate, and that they use the Digital Assets and the services offered within them in their own name and for themselves only, except in the cases in which they were permitted to do so by Haggz, expressly and in writing.
3.5. Users acknowledge and agree that their personal information may also be transferred outside the borders of the State of Israel, including to any company that may own or operate Haggz in the future, and this includes for the purpose of storage and processing in countries that may not provide a standard of protection similar to that granted under the law applicable in Israel in relation to the privacy and security of users' personal information. It is clarified that, as at the date of the update of this Policy, the databases of Haggz are kept on servers in the European Union, and that some of the service providers mentioned in Chapter 5 process information in the European Union, in the United States and in other countries. Users expressly acknowledge and agree to the transfer of the information they have provided and/or that has been collected about them to these countries as well.
3.6. Users acknowledge and agree that the information (including personal information) included in the listing or in the details they have provided may be checked and processed using artificial intelligence systems, whether at the stage of checking the listing or thereafter, for the purpose of improving the services, enforcing the provisions of the Terms of Use, preventing fraud, complying with legal requirements, or maintaining the safety of users. This processing may include the analysis of texts, the recognition of patterns, checking the compliance of the content intended for publication with the provisions of the Terms of Use, classifying the content or deriving insights, and drafting and translating texts, including training the checking system, all in accordance with the purposes detailed in this Policy. This processing may be carried out through the use of tools belonging to third parties and service providers (see Chapter 4 and Chapter 5 of the Policy).
3.7. Users acknowledge and agree that the processing of personal information using artificial intelligence systems may be deemed processing with a high likelihood of risk to privacy, and this may include the production of predictions, assessments, classifications or inferences relating to users, even if they did not expressly provide them.
3.8. The data and information that will be collected or provided by users will be retained lawfully for the period required at the discretion of Haggz in its databases and for the purposes for which they were collected. It is clarified that, in appropriate cases, the information may be retained, in whole or in part, in the databases of Haggz without a time limit (indefinitely).
3.9. Without derogating from the foregoing, upon deletion of the account from within the application: the account is deactivated and the User's listings and data disappear from the Digital Assets immediately; within 30 days the User may reverse this by logging in again, whereupon his account returns as it was; and after the lapse of 30 days, his listings and their images, the identity documents (the identity-verification photos are in any case deleted upon the decision or after 30 days, as in clause 2.7), the telephone numbers, the CV and the professional profile, and the messages he sent to Haggz are permanently deleted, and his personal details are erased from the account record. Thereafter, the purchase records (the transaction identifier, the amount and the date) are retained to the extent required by law, as well as statistical information that does not identify the User.
3.10. IP addresses recorded in Haggz's server logs for operation and information-security purposes are kept for up to 30 days and are then deleted automatically, unless they are required for the investigation of a specific security incident or by law.
4.1. Users' personal information will not be delivered to third parties without their consent, except to the extent permitted in this Privacy Policy. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Haggz is entitled to share and transfer personal information about users to third parties, from time to time, including outside the borders of the State of Israel, in the following cases:
5.1. When using the Digital Assets or as part of the process of your reaching them, including through the marketing campaigns of Haggz on social networks and in the emails or other digital messages that you receive, Haggz may use automated tools and technologies for collecting information such as tags, beacons, SDKs, pixel tags (pixels), an identifier generated in the application and stored on the Device, and the like, which are accepted and known in the industry as "cookies" (Cookies) (the "Cookies"). Through these technologies, information about your activity in the Digital Assets or on other sites may be collected and accumulated. For example, activity patterns in the Digital Assets, browsing hours, browsing path, visits to pages and listings before, during and after reaching the Digital Assets, actions carried out or received in relation to the emails sent to users, and the like; and in the event that personal information is collected through the Cookies, it will be subject to the provisions of this Privacy Policy, and Haggz is entitled to use it in accordance therewith.
5.2. The Cookies are stored on the Device and enable Haggz to activate certain features automatically, as well as to facilitate and simplify the experience of using the Digital Assets and the services offered within them. There are certain types of Cookies, such as pixels and SDKs, that are not stored on the Device but are collected directly on the servers of the operators of these Cookies. Within the framework of the Digital Assets, users' information is also collected and used with the assistance of various tools on behalf of third-party companies, which are embedded in the Digital Assets, and Haggz is entitled also to make use of advertising tools on behalf of third-party advertising companies. Haggz is entitled to share this information of the users with these third-party companies, and even to receive such information about the users from them, for the purposes detailed in Section 3 of this Privacy Policy above:
Information may also be found about the options that these companies offer to users for managing their use of their cookies (Cookies), including choosing not to use these tools while browsing (opting out - opt out), for example through the following digital media:
5.3. Cookies, in general, are small text files and graphic images created by the users' browser or platform on the basis of a particular command, which are placed on the pages of the Digital Assets and make it possible to determine whether a particular action has been carried out. When the User reaches the Digital Assets and/or any of the services offered within them, the Cookies issue a notice of this action. The Cookies are used to collect non-personal information and allow Haggz to measure the responses to the activities that we offer on the pages of the Digital Assets, to improve them and to improve the marketing efforts associated with them. Some Cookies expire when the relevant browser or application is closed, while others are stored in the memory of the User's platform or are sent to Haggz, including to the service providers who act on behalf of and for Haggz as well as the users' providers, for the purpose of providing the services offered within the Digital Assets. Haggz or the third parties that manage the Cookies may from time to time access the content accumulated in them, and it may be stored on their servers.
5.4. Some Cookies can be disabled (deactivated). For example, most internet browsers allow users to delete Cookies from the Device, to block their receipt, or to receive alerts before they are stored, and deleting the application from the Device deletes what the application stored on it, but it is clarified that deleting the Cookies from the browser or from the memory of the User's platform will not result in the deletion of the information and content that has already been transferred to Haggz or to the third parties through them. Nevertheless, it should be noted that if the User deletes the Cookies or does not allow them to be stored, the User's online experience in the Digital Assets may be affected, including in relation to the possibility of providing the services offered within them. Users are advised to review the instructions found in their browser or on the "Help" screen to learn more about these functions. There are other types of Cookies that are not stored on the User's device and therefore the User cannot delete them himself.
6.1. In the event that users have expressed interest in and/or purchased products and/or services from Haggz, including within the Digital Assets, or if they have agreed to receive marketing communications from Haggz in one of its Digital Assets, as applicable, Haggz and/or anyone acting on its behalf is entitled to send these users marketing and advertising information that includes updates, offers, benefits, promotional campaigns and the like through various digital means, including email, the various programs for sending instant messages (such as chat and WhatsApp), SMS messages, and application notifications. In the event that users do not wish to receive the said communications, they may withdraw their consent at any time within the communications themselves, or turn off the types of notifications from the application settings, and even remove themselves from the mailing list by sending an email to the address: haggz.company@gmail.com.
6.2. Haggz may make approaches by way of direct mailing (within the meaning of this term in the Protection of Privacy Law) through electronic and other means, on the basis of its databases. Within the framework of the direct mailing activities, users agree that Haggz may approach them with tailored (personal) communications, on the basis of their belonging to a group with particular characteristics and on the basis of the segmentation and profiling processes that Haggz carries out on the basis of the information kept with it as stated above. The content of the direct mailing may include advertising material, value offers, news content, and other additional content belonging to Haggz and its business partners, according to the choice of Haggz. The User is entitled, at any time, to request to stop receiving direct mailing communications from Haggz, including to request that the information relating to him not be used for such actions in relation to particular parties or for particular purposes. To this end, the User may approach Haggz and request not to receive any further such tailored communications by sending an email to the address: haggz.company@gmail.com.
6.3. When publishing an ad, the user is shown two separate tick boxes: the first, to accept the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy, is a condition for publishing; the second, to agree to receive marketing content from Haggz and/or third parties (Haggz's business partners) through the contact details the user provided, including direct mail, is optional and is not a condition for publishing. Haggz will not send, nor allow anyone on its behalf to send, third-party marketing content except to users who agreed to it in the second box or in another manner permitted by law, and Haggz keeps a record of each consent (its date and wording). The user may withdraw consent at any time as set out in section 6.1.
7.1. In order to carry out certain activities and actions, including within certain services offered on some of the platforms in the Digital Assets of Haggz, the granting of permission to access specific services on the users' device may be requested. These permissions include, among other things:
7.2. It is clarified that you are not obliged to grant permission to access the services mentioned above, and that you may revoke or prevent access to them through the Device settings. Nevertheless, please note that restricting access to these services may limit your ability to enjoy the full features and services offered within the Digital Assets. It is clarified that, as at the date of the update of this Policy, the application does not request permission to access the microphone or the contacts, and that all the listings may be browsed without granting the location permission.
8.1. The Digital Assets, including the services offered within them, may include links to various platforms (such as pages, websites, applications and the like) across the internet which are not operated or managed by Haggz, including the activities and services they offer (such as WhatsApp, maps and navigation applications, and the pages of advertisers on social networks). Haggz does not control or supervise the activity of these platforms, and linking to them through the Digital Assets does not indicate the approval of Haggz of their content, and does not constitute a guarantee of their reliability, their being up to date, or their legality, and any use made of them is at the full responsibility of the users alone. The use of these platforms is subject only to the terms of use and the privacy policy that appear in them, if any, and therefore users are advised to review these documents before making any use of these platforms.
9.1. In order to use the Digital Assets and the services offered within them, users must be over eighteen (18) years of age. Haggz reserves its right to request proof of age at any stage, in a manner that enables it to ascertain that users under this age are not using the Digital Assets. If you are a parent of a child who is under this age and you believe that your child has provided personal information to Haggz within the Digital Assets, you are entitled to approach Haggz using the contact details that appear in this Privacy Policy and to request the deletion of this information. In the event that it is brought to the attention of Haggz that a person under this age is using the Digital Assets, Haggz is entitled to block him and will make its best efforts to delete any personal information relating to that person immediately.
10.1. Subject to the provisions of the law, users are entitled to review (inspect) the personally identifying information that is kept and stored about them through the Digital Assets in the databases of Haggz, as well as to request its correction or deletion, if they find that the information is incorrect, incomplete or not up to date. Users who are interested in exercising these rights may approach Haggz in writing in the ways provided in the provisions of the law or by making contact by email: haggz.company@gmail.com or through "Contact us" in the application, and Haggz will make a reasonable effort to comply with these requests, in accordance with the provisions of the law.
10.2. In addition, the User may, from within the application itself: edit the details of his profile and his listings at any time; delete a listing or pause it; delete the CV; turn off the types of notifications; and delete his account (Profile → "Delete Account") in accordance with what is stated in clause 3.9. A request for the deletion of the data may also be made through the page: https://haggz.com/data-deletion-request .
11.1. Reasonable efforts have been invested in the Digital Assets in order to maintain information security, including through technological mechanisms and systems intended to help protect against the leakage of information, and unauthorised access to and use of it, as well as against the transfer, disclosure, copying or deletion of information (including: transferring information between the application and the servers over an encrypted connection, keeping the identity documents, the identity-verification photos and the CVs in private storage that is opened by temporary signed links, deleting the identity-verification photos as soon as the decision is made, and limiting the number of attempts to enter the verification code). Nevertheless, while these efforts are intended to reduce the existing risks, it cannot be guaranteed that the Digital Assets will be completely immune to such actions, and there shall be no liability for any damage caused to users or to anyone acting on their behalf as a result thereof.
11.2. Users understand that there is always a certain risk in services based on the processing of information, especially when it is transferred over the internet, and they agree to the provision and collection of the information in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Policy and the law, and they take upon themselves the risk of the occurrence of information security incidents that may affect the confidentiality, integrity or availability of this information.
12.1. The provisions of this Privacy Policy may change from time to time, among other things in order to reflect technological, business, legal or regulatory changes. It is clarified that in the event that material changes are made to the provisions relating to the use of the personal information provided and/or collected about users within the Digital Assets, a notice to that effect will be published on the appropriate platform in the Digital Assets and/or in this Privacy Policy. The use of the Digital Assets after such changes have been made shall indicate the users' consent to these changes, and it is therefore advisable to review this Privacy Policy from time to time.
12.2. If the User has any questions regarding the Privacy Policy, he may approach Haggz by sending an email to the address: haggz.company@gmail.com.
