Haggz works to promote accessibility in accordance with what is set out in the accessibility legislation, and regards customers with disabilities as customers with equal rights, who are entitled to enjoy full accessibility in the Haggz application and on its pages on the internet. The purpose of this statement is to inform about the accessibility arrangements of Haggz. It should be noted that the public is not received at the offices of Haggz; the service is provided through the application and digital means only.
Everyone who works at Haggz or on its behalf, now or in the future, is informed of the legal duties, with emphasis on the prohibition of discrimination, on providing an equal service in an inclusive environment, and on the accessibility arrangements of Haggz for customers with disabilities.
Whoever provides service to users on behalf of Haggz is trained to provide service to persons with disabilities, and so is whoever manages the service channels and the call centres, if they are operated.
Our service channels — "Contact us" in the application and email — are available and accessible to all our customers, including persons with disabilities, and they are written channels that also suit those who find voice communication difficult. If Haggz operates a telephone service centre, the voice response in it shall be adapted and without background music, at a slow pace and in simple language.
Haggz offers its customers the option of receiving information in accessible formats. The information is provided free of charge and is intended for persons with disabilities. For enquiries and information on the subject of accessibility, the Accessibility Coordinator at Haggz may be contacted as set out below.
Haggz works to carry out accessibility adjustments in the application and on its pages on the internet in accordance with Part C: Internet Services of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, and with Israeli Standard 5568 which is based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines, with the aim of reaching level AA, and this is subject to the changes and adjustments made in the Israeli Standard document. Haggz is an application for iOS and Android devices, and therefore the accessibility adjustments in it are provided through the accessibility tools built into the device (Settings ← Accessibility) and through the settings of the application itself, not through a separate accessibility menu. After changing a setting, it may be necessary to return to the application or reopen it for the change to appear. The application works on the common versions of iOS and Android, and the pages of Haggz on the internet (the legal pages and the listing share pages) work on the common browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, Opera. It is recommended to use the latest version of the application and of the operating system. In old versions, there may be incompatibility because the version itself does not conform to the standard.
What is available, and where?
